External system UOM map code table

The external system UOM map code table defines values for units of measure (UOM) as defined in IEE with units of measure as defined in external systems (collection systems, billing systems).

Use the following procedure to configure the External System UOM Map Code Table:

1. Go to System Administration > System Admin > Code Table Setup.

2. From the Code Table Selection list, select External System UOM Map.

3. Use the Number of rows to insert on add dropdown menu to select the number of blank rows to add to the code table.

4. From the Code Table Setup menu, click Add. The new rows appear in the table.

5. Click to select each row that you added and enter the parameters for the row:

   • ID. Defines the code the external system uses to identify this unit. The ID must be unique for each external system such as 01, 11, 26.

   • Alternate ID. Defines a longer description of the unit such as volts, water.

   • External System. Defines the external system for this mapping such as Lodestar System.

   • Unit. Defines the IEE unit to map to the external unit code.

   • Unit of Measure. (Optional) Defines the UOM in IEE to map to the external UOM.

6. Click Save.
